Brain Injury Awareness Month

poster promoting brain injury awareness month

Each year, March is recognized nationally as Brain Injury Awareness Month. This year alone, 2.87 million Americans will sustain an acquired brain injury. Individuals who have sustained a brain injury are often misdiagnosed, misunderstood, and under-funded.

By taking part in our Brain Injury Awareness Month campaign, you can unite with the millions of citizens living with brain injury and their families who are taking action to ensure their voices are heard.

You can help to raise awareness of brain injury – one story at a time! Share your story with us using this link, or on your own social media pages with the hashtags #biact #braininjuryawarenessmonth #usbia #braininjuryawareness and by tagging us @BrainInjuryAllianceCT. Share our brain injury awareness social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!
