Providers Council

The Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut’s (BIAC) Providers Council meetings offer a unique opportunity for individual and agency service providers to connect with each other and discuss current issues and best practices within the community. This is a great opportunity for providers to share insights on current issues within CT, brainstorm glitches within the service delivery system, and come together for “case reviews” among colleagues.
The Council meets bi-monthly, and meetings often include guest speakers, education on new technologies, developments in the field and other issues important to organizations serving individuals with brain injury in Connecticut. BIAC Providers Council membership also enables access to BIAC’s Legislative Liaison, providing guidance in navigating legislative issues in Connecticut. CT Department of Social Services (DSS) are active and involved in all meetings, providing important updates on state services (including the Brain Injury Waiver Program) and available to address concerns and respond to questions from providers.
Membership in Providers Council is an option for all BIAC Business/Professional Members.
PC meets every other month on the first Wednesday of the given month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Meetings are currently being held virtually via Zoom. Visit the BECOME A MEMBER page to learn more.
